For care teams
Referring someone to us
We are a partner of the supportive-care program at our local hospital. We work with a referral from your doctor or other provider. We do not diagnose.
- 01
Step 1: You refer, or your patient asks
A nurse, doctor or other provider can send a referral by phone or email. A patient can also ask us to contact their team.
- 02
Step 2: We confirm the guidance
We ask which areas to avoid and what pressure your team recommends, in writing where possible.
- 03
Step 3: A gentle session
Light touch, a shorter length, covered throughout. We stop at once if the client asks.
- 04
Step 4: We send a note back
With the client's permission: when they came, the length of the session and anything they asked us to pass on.
Scope
What we do, and what we don't
We follow your guidance
Areas to avoid, pressure and position are set by your team's instructions and the client's wishes.
We keep it light
Light touch and short sessions, with the client able to stop at any time.
We do not diagnose
We do not change a care plan or make claims about outcomes. We give the client a receipt they can send to their plan.
