The quiet room

A room to sit in, whenever you arrive

Open to everyone who comes in, and to anyone who came with them.

The quiet room is a place to arrive without hurrying and to leave the same way. There are loungers with blankets and cushions, soft light, water, and no screens or music unless you ask for them.

A caregiver can wait here during a session. Some people book the quiet room on its own, for twenty minutes of rest with a hand on the shoulder or arm if they want one.

  • Loungers with blankets and cushions

  • Soft light and no music unless you ask

  • Water, and a chair for a companion

In the room

What you will find

  • A lounger

Long enough to stretch out, with a blanket and cushions of different weights.

  • Soft light

Lamps and daylight, never glare. Ask us to dim it further if you like.

  • Quiet

No screens and no music unless you ask. We lower our voices, too.

  • Water

A jug of water and cups, and a place to set down your things.

  • A chair for company

Someone who came with you can sit beside you or wait while you have your session.

  • No hurry

Come ten minutes early and stay as long as you like afterward. The next client has a room of their own.

Quiet rest

Or come only to rest

  • Twenty minutes

A blanket, low light and a hand on your shoulder or arm if you want one. Nothing to say and nothing to do.

  • You stay in charge

Tell us to stay, to step out, or to stop. We follow you.

  • Fully clothed

Nothing to take off, and no table unless you want one.

Come and sit for a while.

Choose a quiet rest, or book a session and arrive early.
