Questions about gentle massage
Do I need to ask my care team first?
Yes, please ask before you book, and again if your treatment changes. If your team has asked you to avoid an area, tell us when you book and we will plan around it. If you have a note from them, bring it.
How long is a session?
From 20 to 60 minutes. Most first visits are short, and many people stay with the short ones. You can end any session early.
How hard will you press?
Lightly, unless you ask for more. We check in as we go, and you can ask us to go lighter at any time.
Am I covered the whole time?
Yes. A sheet or blanket covers you, and only the part we are working on is uncovered. The seated sessions are done fully clothed.
Can I stop?
Yes, at any time and for any reason. You can pause, change position or end the session, and we stop right away.
Can someone come with me?
Yes. A caregiver or friend can wait with you in the quiet room, or stay in the treatment room if you would like them there.
What if I am too tired on the day?
Call or text and we will move your session without any questions. Treatment days change, and we plan for that.
How does pricing work?
The price is set by the length of the session. The booking page shows it before you confirm.
What should I wear?
Whatever is comfortable. For the lying-down sessions undress only as far as you like; we work around whatever you keep on.
Do you work with hospital teams?
Yes. A nurse, doctor or other provider can send a referral, and with your permission we send a short note back after your visit. Read more on the page for care teams.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give us 24 hours when you can. If you are unwell or an appointment runs over, call or text and we will move your session.
Is there somewhere to rest before or after a session?
Yes, the quiet room: a lounger, blankets, soft light and water, open to you and to anyone who came with you.
Still have a question?
Call or text, or send a message.
